On 25th February 2015, I have the sudden urge to make a clay model. Got even more excited when I found out that day is 'Chinese Human Day'.
Legend has it that a goddess created human out of clay on the seventh day of CNY. After a month of hardwork, I'm crying tears of joy.
How it started:
Every time I stare at those gorgeous anime figurines, this thought kept swirling in my mind:
'Since I can't afford any, and the available ones aren't making me go: I NEED THIS... Why not make my own?'
I keep telling myself that those figurines are 3D printed and there is absolutely no way someone like me,
who has never sculpt a human figure before can achieve this. And the cost of all the materials is enough to buy a ready made, beautiful figurine...
(that IS pretty stupid qAq)
But as I make them, I learn new things. I finally did what I've always wanted to try.
Most of all, the one you make is the one you love, and will cherish more than the bought ones.
